At A.R. Hobby Store, we aim to provide high-quality products and excellent customer service. If you need to return or exchange an item, please follow the guidelines below.
Returns & Exchange Process
To ensure a smooth process, please ensure all return/exchange requirements are met. You may initiate a return or exchange by visiting our store or contacting our support team. We will conduct an evaluation within seven (7) working days. If the claim is valid, a refund or replacement will be processed.
General Requirements for Returns/Exchanges
Returns must be made within seven (7) working days from the purchase date as per the receipt. Returns/exchanges are applicable for the following reasons:
- Wrong Item Received: If you received an incorrect item.
- New Condition: The item must be returned in its original, unopened packaging, with all original accessories (manuals, warranty cards, certificates of authenticity) and any free gifts included.
- Unused Item: The product must not have been used, installed, or modified in any way.
- One-Time Exchange: Exchanges are limited to one per purchase. Exchanged products are not eligible for further exchange or refund unless proven faulty.
Non-Returnable Products
The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:
- Hygiene-related Items: Wearable gear, gloves, masks, and apparel, unless unopened and in original condition.
- Digital or Intangible Products: Gift cards, prepaid codes, and digital content.
- Customized Items: Made-to-order models, painted kits, or personalized products.
- Used or Opened Items: Any item that has been opened, used, or assembled, including but not limited to:
- Model kits
- Tools and adhesives
- Paints and painting supplies
- RC vehicles and electronics
- Drones and parts
If the Product is Defective or Dead on Arrival (DOA)
If an item is found defective or Dead on Arrival (DOA) within seven (7) days of purchase, we offer a one-time replacement with the same or equivalent product, provided the following conditions are met:
- The defect is due to manufacturing issues, not improper handling or misuse.
- The original receipt is presented.
Exclusions:
- Items damaged due to improper use, accidents, liquid exposure, or unauthorized repairs.
- Consumable parts such as batteries, paints, or brushes.
- Products used commercially or for public rental.
- Items already registered under a warranty program; these should be addressed to the manufacturer.
Procedure for Returns/Exchanges
- Prepare your original purchase receipt and ensure the product meets all return requirements.
- Contact our store or support team to report your issue.
- Bring or ship the item to our store for evaluation.
- If the return is approved, a replacement or refund will be processed within seven (7) days.
Note: If the return is deemed invalid, we will notify you and arrange for the product to be returned. A delivery fee may apply.
Return/Exchange Period
Products cannot be returned or exchanged after seven (7) working days from the purchase date. If the issue arises after this period, please contact the product manufacturer or our support team for assistance under the warranty program.
